notes
image Russ and James and I formed a band called Rock The Clown and were rehearsing at 6/8 Studios in the East Village of NYC. Russ and I placed an ad in the Village Voice for a sax player and Robb answered. On the night we'd arranged to meet him, he walked into the rehearsal room, set up his equipment as we continued playing, and joined in. We all felt it worked. image We named ourselves Ambrose Tower after the Ambrose Light Station, a light tower that used to be in Lower New York Bay.
